Gasa has just one central school- Bjishong Central School located at Damji, Khamoed Gewog. Established in 2007, today we have 504 students from 19 Dzongkhags studying from class PP to 11. We have 32 teaching staff. 
Finally the much awaited drama show by Bjishong Central School will be performed this coming Sunday i.e 1st October 2017 in Motithang High School, Thimphu. The original drama titled "the Greed" written and directed by Lopen Pema Tshering will be performed by a cast of 30 student - teacher team.
So we invite one and all to watch the show from the Highlands - The GREED. 
Special request to alumni of Bjishong Central School and citizens of Gasa Dzongkhag residing in Thimphu to contribute to sponsor dinners and refreshments to the team in Thimphu.
