7 Sep 2017, Gasa:
After 2 days of review of our 2016-17 APA, this morning, the National Technical Committee comprising of Gawa Zangpo, MoF, Sonam, GNHC and Tshering Choden, RCSC made a presentation on their findings to the Dzongkhag. Their assessment showed a slight fall in the overall score from our self assessment of 97.26 to 95.51. However, we were fully convinced, agreed and accepted the new score.
We expressed our sincere appreciation for a very well done job. We believed their assessment was done very objectively and overall we felt that they knew very well what they were doing. They exhibited a high degree of professionalism, which was a very pleasant discovery for us specially we are also seriously trying to move towards excellence in service delivery through the goal of Good to Great Civil Service.
The session was a big education and awareness building on the subject and we committed to share these new understandings and learnings to our colleagues and public at large.
Setting realistic targets; assigning realistic weightage to the SI; Keeping in constant contact with GPMD through regular reports and issues redressals; true and genuine self assessment.
A big thank to the NTC team and congratulations to GPMD, GNHC, NSB, RCSC.
