October 30, 2015:

Had an awesome meeting on Bhutan Civil Service System Reform Meeting this morning on 30 October 2015, Gasa. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the RCSC. We were about 53 of us in attendance.
Chairman in his address highlighted the vision of “Good to Great” as the core rationale on these reforms, which ultimately strengthens the Security, Sovereignty and Self reliance of our Kingdom. He invited everyone to embrace the proposed changes. 
Five proposed changes/reforms are 1. Right sizing of the Government 2. Bhutan Civil service System reform 3. Performance Mannagement system 4. Succession and Leadership planning 5. Civil Service well being. 
He also stressed that these reforms are all about “unleashing the full potential” of the civil servants and in no way of displacing or retrenching as some tend to fear. 
Gasa Dzongkhag in the spirit of “Good to Great Gasa” submitted our full commitment and support in making these reforms a great success and make Royal Bhutanese Civil Service Great.
