14 June 2017, Gasa: 
This morning at Taj Tashi, 126 days after the signing of the Buyer - Seller MOU, the participating hotels/restaurants got their first weekly supply of garlic and carrot from Gasa.

We would like to thank our partners Taj Tashi, Amankora,Druk Hotel, Termalinca, Pedling,Tashiyoedling, Galingkha, Hotel Ariya and Fu Lu Shou Chinese Fine Dining Restaurant for their support and hope to grow this partnership from strength to strength. In few weeks time, potatoes will be ready.

We like to acknowledge with thanks the support of the MoAF team viz. National Post Harvest Centre, National Organic Programme, BAFRA and DAMC.

Our very special thanks to Taj Tashi for hosting the event. We also thank the BBS and Kuensel for covering the event.

This Venture underscores five significant objectives, viz. i) Contribution to the stronger Nation Building by promoting production and consumption of local produce thereby directly reducing imports. ii) Strengthening and concretization of Organic Programme of the MoAF as all these three products will be certified organic. iii) A workable model of public private partnership in agriculture development iv ) Showcasing Corporate Nation Building Responsibility v) A flagship driver of the Good to Great Gasa vision of self reliance.
