November 11, 2016:

Gasa joins the nation in celebrating the 61st Birth Anniversary of the Great Fourth – the 4th Druk Gyalpo of the Kingdom of Bhutan, HM King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. Led by Gasa Rabdey, we offered Prayers, Marmey Moenlam and Zhabten Soeldheb for the long life of His Majesty. We concluded the offering with Suja desi to the Rabdey and guest participants. Since yesterday, Gasa Rabdey also started the 3 days Goenbo Tshepamey prayers for the long life of the Great Fourth.
In celebration of this great occasion, the Office of Prime Minister is also sponsoring Tokha lunch today to the staff and workers (190 heads) of the Gasa dzong Renovation Project.
