The Druk Gyalpo’s Relief Kidu Program

The new coronavirus disease is melting economy and claiming lives of many people across the world. In such a unprecedented situation, every word and action of His Majesty emanates immense compassion and concern for all the people. To relief the pandemic stress and fears amongst all the Bhutanese near and far, His Majesty initiated a numerous Kidu packages for COVID-19 Response and Recovery to respond to the emergency and respite from the socio-economic shock. Moreover, the launch of Druk Gyalpo’s Relief Kidu is yet another mighty blessing to those who have been affected by coronavirus.

To tackle and facilitate affected people for Kidu packages, Gasa Dzongkhag has established help desk within District Court premises which remains open for 7 days a week. Therefore, those who have been directly hit or compromised livelihoods due to this deadly disease can visit the above-mentioned office or contact Dasho Drangpoen and Dzongkhag Kidu Officer at 16288116 and 17775777 respectively.

There are no words to describe the endeavours His Majesty initiates for the wellbeing of all the people and deeds undertaken by His majesty is beyond conception and gratefulness for ordinary being like us. Yet we urge everyone to remain alert not to be complacent or let our guard down and this is the least we can do.
