2017/18 APA for Laya and Khatoed Gewogs and 18 Sectors under Dzongkhag Administration was signed between Dzongdag, Gups, GAO and sector heads. During the signing, Dzongda reinforced the principles and objectives of APA by highlighting the added new roles/responsibilities of all civil servants, locally elected officials and citizens. He said, the ultimate aim of APA is to make public servants including the elected ones and citizens (beneficiaries) more accountable, which would naturally translate to enhanced development results and improved public service delivery. 
The final APA for Gasa will be signed with Lunana Gewog as soon as possible.
