March 21, 2020:
For the past few weeks, we had been tied up coming up with comprehensive Dzongkhag preparedness and response plan for COVID-19 in line the National strategies and response plan sandwiched with implementing regular mechanisms as planned. While the days get busier than ever to have strategies participation to the Nation to fend off all the possibilities of COVID-19, should the concerns for the virus in the country stretch for a longer period, we are making sure that the routine services to the public are not compromised.
With the fast approaching monsoon season for the Gasa and tight schedule ahead, the volunteers and staff managed the sunny Saturday for some volunteer works filling up potholes along the subsidiary road towards Phulakha Area.
The road leading to NHDCL quarter in Gasa was bit ramshackle one creating uneasiness to the travelers and passers-by. The group of staff dwelling in and around NHDCL quarter have seen filling up all the potholes come to pass, which are likely to get worst with expected continuous rainy days(months) ahead of the us. They are hoping this to greatly benefit all the dwellers and passersby.
