The recently launched Gasa Soechu is available in Thimphu at Fu Lu Shou - Chinese Restaurant, Chuniding Foods, 8 Eleven, No 7.

GASA Soechu is spring water bottled at source in glass bottle. It is purified and treated with state of the art technology comprising of multistage filtration, ozonisation and ultraviolet treatment to ensure pure and safe drinking water. GASA Soechu contains valuable minerals by nature. 
We use glass bottle for better quality water and to be environmentally friendly as we buy back empty bottles at Nu 10 for re-use.
This spring water located at 2900 masl is believed to be designated as Drupchu by Drubthop Terkhungpa in 12th century. Drubthop Terkhungpa was the founder of the site on which Gasa Tashithongmoen Dzong stand today. Later this water is said to be used as Soechu of Shaabdrung Rimpoche in 16th century and also used in water offering to Ap Gomo.

Gasa Socehu is manufactured by Driving Dzongkhag Development Centre (DDDC), which is operated as a community owned company (CoC). This CoC may be first of its kind, whereby the community is empowered to manage and utilize the natural resources including water. DDDC is the engine of sustainable socio-economic development of Good to Great Gasa with Self-Reliance as its objective.
