Dr. Mike Watkins and Mrs. Kuenga Yangki from the Royal Institute of Management presented their findings on visitor experience study of Royal Highland Festival 2018 to organizing committee here in the Dzongkhag. The presentation clocking to an hour long deliberated on the motive, strength and impact of the RHF on the visitors’ lens. It was said that data were collected from the volunteers, Laya runners, stall holders, officials, organizer, Layaps and other highlanders. Findings indicated that visitors were highly satisfied ranking international visitors at top among the categories of visitors. Necessary feedback and suggestions were given to presenters for incorporation and at the same time recommendation from the research team were noted for future improvement. The Dzongkhag Administration is deeply grateful to RIM in taking up a research on RHF providing ‘a voice’ for festival visitors to contribute ideas to improving the festival.
