43 years ago today, the Kingdom of Bhutan was blessed with the crowning of His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck as the fourth King. Since then to this day and for eternity, the sovereignty and security of the country and the well being and happiness of the people (have been/will be) His Majesty's the Concern and Priority.
Today, Gasa is happy to join the Nation in celebrating this joyous occasion of the Coronation of the Fourth King of Bhutan and take this opportunity to offer our humble wishes for Happy and Long Life of His Majesty.

As a humble and sincere gesture of gratitude, we may commit ourselves to put into action what our Fourth King has said in the Coronation address in 1974, “...As far as you, my people, are concerned, you should not adopt the attitude that whatever is required to be done for your welfare will be done entirely by the government. On the contrary, a little effort on your part will be as much more effective than a great deal of effort on the part of the government…..”.
