Opposition Leader's visit to Gasa Dzongkhag.

Gasa Dzongkhag is privileged with the presence of Honorable Opposition Leader Dorji Wangdi. His Excellency is on an official tour meeting and holding discussions with District Administrator, District Education Officer, and Sectors Heads, and Elected LG leaders on working collectively for the betterment of the nation.

His Excellency hosted the brief meeting and delivered a presentation to the Dzongkhag Administration’s staff and LG elected Leaders on our Economy today and His Excellency’s understanding of Royal Kasho on education and civil service reform. His Excellency presented his quadruple reforms in line with the Royal Kasho to set quadruple goals to achieve the vision of a High-Income nation. Excellency also stated that the responsibility is on everyone to chart out the economic road map of the nation and not only to Government. He also said we should work together collectively to achieve His majesty’s vision on 21st Century Economic Road Map.

His Excellency also highlighted reforms to build globally competent and locally rooted individuals to achieve compact, efficient, and professional civil service. At the end of the session, he expressed his gratitude and thanked LG Leaders for their services to the people and the country for the last five years and wished for the success of the upcoming 3rd LG election.

His Excellency also visited the Goen-Khang of the Gasa Dzong and offered his prayers.
