2nd Youth Support Programme of Gasa

2017 Youth Support Programme of Gasa will be organised with the theme “Youth Meets to Support Good to Great Gasa” and humbly dedicated to the celebration of the landmark First Birth Anniversary of His Royal Highness Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck – the heart beat of the Nation.

The event will be held on 20th and 21st January 2017 in Gasa Tshachu. Last year the event was held on 3rd and 4th Feb 2016 with about 60 plus youths in attendance. 
Over two days, we will be covering many important topics viz: Highlighting gratitude to our selfless Kings and Wangchuck Dynasty; Reinforcing our dedication and commitment to the service of Tsawa Sum; mainstreaming the local youth to the Dzongkhag’s Vision of Good to Great; introduction to CBS(Community Based Scouting); introduction to RENEW; introduction to first aid; introduction to traffic rules; showcasing youth talents (cultural programme) 
Most importantly, it will be a bonding time with entertainment. An opportunity to come together; share our ideas, views and dreams and build a common vision to build a stronger Gasa, a Stronger Nation.

So all youth of Gasa Dzongkhag are welcome to attend. Food and rooms will be provided but they are requested to bring bedding, plates, mugs and their basic necessity items.
