Triggered by the heavy rain and annual maintenance plan, the following public announcement are being made in BBS TV to inform all concerned that, viz.
1. Tshachu (hot spring) will remain closed from 9th August till mid September 2016 to carry out some major maintenance work. 
2. The Gasa Punakha road with effect from 10 to 24 August 2016 will remain closed to carry out some major rectification/restoration works at Domipanchu, which is 15 km from Damji la. 
However, vehicles can ply to and fro between punakha and Damji la during this period
