A team led by Sangay Dorji, Secretary-General of Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) was here on advocacy and awareness mission. They met with the civil servants and the private people.

Key Messages :

➢ BCCI represents all the private sectors and not just the business sector as narrowly understood till now.
➢ Any private sector related agenda to be put up to the Government could be routed through BCCI.
➢ BCCI and RGoB will work together more closely.
➢ At Dzongkhag level, Dzongkhag Administration will take on board the representative of BCCI in all important events including the Dzongkhag Tshogdue sessions (as observers)
➢ Dzongkhag Administration will involve and engage BCCI in all matters related to private such as marketing of local agricultural and other produce; establishment of industries (CSI)
