3rd April 2018, Gasa:
A daylong training for the food handlers on basic food safety is underway in the meeting hall of Khatoed Gewog. The trainees will receive the Food Handler’s License after the training. The operator should have this license to operate any food related business such as restaurants and home based food processing. 
The training being attended by about 50 participants is being coordinated and conducted by the BAFRA team based in Gasa. We hope that this training will go a long way in improving the hygiene of food at home and those on sale.
