Another feather in the cap of Good to Great Gasa

Congratulations to Dawa Dema ! Congratulations to Karma Sangay (Principal) and the School team for this outstanding achievement and making Gasa proud.
Dawa Dema of 2016 class X of Bjishong Central School has outshone rest of the female participants by bagging the Best Female Trainee Award in the the third Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Winter Camp for the 117 student participants who participated in the ten different skill trades.

The camp ended yesterday with the awarding of certificates to the participants of various trades and also one male & one female received the best student trophy of the camp from Hon'ble Lyonpo Ngeema Sangay Tshempo gracing the closing ceremony as the chief guest in Jigme Wangchuck Power Training Institute (JWPTI) - Dekiling, Sarpang.

Applause to Dawa Dema for living up to the expectations of Dzongkhag’s Vision of Good to Great…in order words …Being Number One and inspiring other fellow students. Dzongkhag will also recognise her contribution later.

Dawa Dema is from Sirigang, Punakha and has been studying in Bjishong for last two years and she was the school captain for 2016.
