Honouring orange in the 39th Batch

Matching the good signs and symbols of the day to an auspicious Bhutanese sacred month, the orange team in Gasa forgathers to welcome 20 males and 6 females who successfully completed the 39th Batch Accelerated De-suung Integrated Training Programme. Speaking to over 45 DeSuups present today, Dasho Dzongda, the representative of the Supreme Commander, offered a hearty welcome to the team joining others to nourish our Nation.

Dasho reminded about the noble project emanated from Our Beloved, The Druk Gyalpo’s heart and how His Majesty places faith in these programmes. “Every single moment, we have amid us a noble being, His Majesty The King emanating enlightening wisdoms, experiencing infinite responsibility for the entire nation, reaching every part of the country with a vision of leaving no Bhutanese behind and drawing inspiration to all beings,” Dasho Dzongda highlighted. “While humbly following the steps of the only Bhutanese hope in His Majesty The King, it is an opportune time and platform as de-suups to serve The King, the Country and the People.”

Dasho asked all De-suups to be very vigilant and ready to assist the Nation should emergencies arise for all the times to come. Especially in this unprecedented situation, every desuung is requested to continue in drawing aspirations and working harder to realise the dreams of His Majesty The King. The floor led by Dasho, recited the Desuung code of honour for firm assurance of their solidarity and commitment.

According to Dzongkhag Desuung Coordinator, Mr. Sherub Gyeltshen, the Desuung team in Gasa has already joined in assisting RBP for Patrolling in and around the Gasa town and other strategic locations.The 26 new members would now be assigned to undertake the responsibilities as required by the circumstances.

With the joining of twenty six members from the 39th batch, the total number of DeSuups in Gasa now stands at 122.
In a concluding remarks, Dasho sends his gratitude to all the De-suups across the country for tireless support and unwavering dedication .
