April 10,2020:
Prayers for the compassionate Buddhist master, the embodiment of the Buddha
All staff led by Dasho Dzongda offered prayers and thousands of butter lamps in memory of His Holiness the 68th Je Khenpo, Thrizur Ngawang Tenzin Doendrup at Khagoen lhakhang located at Gasa Tashithongmoen Dzong wherein the ritual ceremonies dedicated to the late Je Thrizur are conducted by Gasa Rabdhay.
As a blessings to all the people in the world, Je Thrizur was born in 1925 in Shaa Fadingkha, Wangdiphodrang and became the 68th Je Khenpo on April 12, 1986. In 1990, His Holiness retired and became the patron of the Tango and Cheri Buddhist Shedra.
Corresponding to the auspicious 15th day of the Second month of the Male Iron Rat Year, His Holiness peacefully entered the state of parinirvana at his residence in Dodena.
Although no words can really help to ease the loss that we bear, the devout people will continue to be inspired and guided by the blessings and teachings The Precious master showered upon us.
As we recite the OM MANI PADME HUM mantra, we prayed for His Holiness’s instant return to the world for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Grant your blessings now and forever!! OM MANI PADME HUNG!!!🙏🙏🙏
